say, you have $1000 investment as "Basic Investor" with a profit share of 45%. Now for today the company made a profit of 2%. As per today's profit the return from your investment should be $20,
($1000 x 2)/100 = $20

but in this profit share model you will get 45% of $20, that means your return will be $9 for today.
($20 x 45)/100 = $9
